Set self-service actions for an asset

You can select the self-service actions that can be performed on an asset. You can define different actions for each provider available for this item

  1. Go to Configuration > Administraton > Catalog Management.

  2. Select an item.

  3. Select the Available Providers tab.

  4. Select a provider.

    Note: You can set different actions for each available provider of that asset.

  5. Select the self-service actions you to enable the provider and asset. A sub menu opens.

  6. For Authorized Requester, select:
    • Anyone. This option means that the asset is available to everyone who performs the self-service action.

      OR

    • Restricted. Select an employee group to make the resource available only to members of the group who perform the self-service action.

  7. Select All Organizations, to make the resource available when an action is performed for a department. This means that the resource is available for the selected action for all departments.

  8. Repeat steps 6-7 for all selected actions.

  9. Click Apply to save your changes or click Cancel to exit without saving changes.
